For you and your loved pet to have a dedicated space where you can be close together so they are re-assured by your presence.
Our capacity is limited to 6 patient rooms- so before coming to our practice you must first call our nurse at 814-833-1504 and complete a pre-registration application. Our nurse then consults our triage team to determine if we have capacity for your pet's anticipated needs. If we do have capacity then a non-refundable deposit schedules arrival by reservation. If we do not have capacity then we refer you to another care facility.

At West Erie Pet Urgent Care we believe that pets do best when they are with their family - as much as is practical - during their Urgent Care. We have 6 comfortable patient rooms where you can be inside, together with your pet. While there are times when your pet will not be able to be with you due to BioSecurity and OSHA requirements (for example when blood samples are taken, during a procedure, during xraying) rest assured our goal is to have you and your pet together as much as possible!
Due to limited capacity WE ARE NOT A WALK-IN PRACTICE. To ensure that we have capacity for your pet's unique situation - before coming to our practice - you must first call our triage nurse to confirm we are open, to complete a pre-registration application, and for us to triage the pre-registration application to determine if we have capacity for your pet's anticipated needs. Those pre-registrations approved will be scheduled arrival by reservation during opening hours. Due to capacity restrictions we reserve the right to refer applicants to another provider if we do not have capacity.
Note that wait-times can be very long because cases are seen in the order of medical seriousness - not in the order of arrival. We care about your pet, and we also care about you! Our team will do what we can to make a stressful medical situation as comfortable as it can be. Still, be patient and expect long wait times as we focus on providing thorough care for all the sick pets we are seeing.
Our Urgent Care exam fee is $90 and paid as a non-refundable reservation to schedule arrival.
Based upon your pet's history and exam findings our doctor will recommend the extensions of care (diagnostics and treatment) indicated for your pet's individual needs: Such care is at additional cost above and beyond the exam fee. Our assistants will provide you a transparent estimate for the extensions of care before we proceed. We appreciate you understanding that to keep an urgent care practice open requires payment in full at the time of service. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit Card, and Cash. For those needing payment plans we accept ScratchPay.
We do not provide personal loans nor credit. We do not accept Care Credit.
